Welcome to Cooking and Opera! I’m Shenika John Jordan, and I’m an opera singer, arts administrator, and food enthusiast. Music and food have always been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to share these two passions in ways that are fun, while championing the power of our collective community, and amplifying culture.
Cooking and Opera began during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. I spent more time unleashing creativity in the kitchen and in music, and sharing with loved ones. In a decision to document this activity, Cooking and Opera has become a community of food and music lovers from around the world.
